Established in 2005 by an Act of the Government of Gujarat, Ganpat University is a progressive, industry-oriented institution built on the vision of social upliftment through education. Located at Ganpat Vidyanagar, the university brings together academic excellence, practical training, and strong industry collaboration to prepare students for global careers. The university offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs across engineering, management, computer applications, pharmacy, sciences, maritime studies, agriculture, and other professional fields. Patel College of Engineering, a constituent institute, is dedicated to developing technically competent and industry-ready engineers through advanced laboratories, modern infrastructure, and experienced faculty. Why U. V. Patel College of Engineering ETO
U. V. Patel College of Engineering is named in honor of Shri Ugarchandbhai Varanasibhai Patel, a respected industrialist from Gujarat who generously supported the institution’s establishment and development.
The college was founded in 1997 under the Mehsana District Education Foundation with the goal of providing quality engineering education to students of Gujarat and preparing them for industry needs. In recognition of Shri U.V. Patel’s contribution and vision toward technical education, the institute was named after him.
Today, it functions as a constituent college of Ganpat University and continues to uphold the mission of delivering industry-focused technical education.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must meet any one of the following criteria:
Completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as a separate subject, securing at least 50% marks in English (in 10th or 12th), along with a three-year Diploma with a minimum of 60% marks.
OR
Completed a four-year Engineering Degree (including lateral entry) with at least 50% marks in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication/Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, or an equivalent stream.
OR
Passed 10th standard with at least 50% marks in English as a separate subject, completed a Diploma with 60% marks, and obtained a three-year Engineering Degree through lateral entry with at least 50% marks in the above-mentioned streams.
All Diploma and Degree qualifications must be approved by AICTE or recognized by the Central or State Government.
Age Limit:
Applicants must not be older than 35 years on the date the course begins.
