All courses are approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Government of India. This ensures that our programs meet national and international maritime standards, giving students globally recognized qualifications.
Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this program, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Academic Qualification
Applicants must fulfill any one of the following educational criteria:
Option 1: 10+2 Qualification
Successfully completed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
Minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCM subjects.
Minimum 50% marks in English, either in Class 10 or Class 12, where English was studied as a separate subject.
OR
Option 2: Diploma / Degree Qualification
Completed a 3-year Diploma with a minimum of 60% marks,
ORCompleted a 4-year Engineering Degree with a minimum of 50% marks
The qualification must be in one of the following disciplines:
Electrical Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication Engineering
Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
Or any equivalent recognized branch
All diploma or degree programs must be approved and recognized by a State Government, Central Government, or AICTE.
Additional Requirements
Passport: A valid passport is mandatory at the time of admission or joining.
Age Limit: The maximum age should not exceed 35 years at the time of application.
Medical Fitness: Candidates must meet standard medical requirements for sea service.
Eyesight should be within ±2.5 power.
No color blindness is permitted.
Overall physical fitness must comply with maritime medical standards.
