Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) (ETO)

About Us TMI

Tolani Maritime Institute was established with a clear vision to strengthen India’s position in global maritime education. India has historically produced highly skilled officers for the world’s merchant fleet. Recognizing the growing demand for technologically advanced and professionally trained seafarers, a modern campus-based maritime institution was conceptualized in the late 1990s.

Backed by the Tolani Group’s strong legacy in ship owning, ship management, and higher education, the institute welcomed its first batch of degree students in 1998. By 2000, operations shifted to a fully developed 100-acre residential campus equipped with world-class infrastructure and training facilities.

Why (SIMTI)
