Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
Applicants must be at least 17 years old and not more than 21 years at the time of application.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must meet any one of the following academic requirements:
Minimum 65% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12, OR
B.Sc. degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Electronics with Physics, securing at least 65% in the final year, OR
B.E./B.Tech. degree with a minimum aggregate of 65% in the final year.
English Proficiency:
A minimum of 60% marks in English in Class 12 is required.
Medical & Physical Fitness:
Candidates must be physically and mentally fit as per DNS program standards. Good eyesight (6/6 vision) and no color vision deficiency are mandatory.

Medical & Fitness Requirements:
Candidates must be physically and mentally fit for the DNS program. Clear eyesight (6/6 vision) and absence of color blindness are essential.
Sponsorship Selection:
Selection for DNS sponsorship is carried out by shipping companies through their own process, which may include written tests, interviews, and medical examinations.
Important Information:
IMU-CET qualification is compulsory for admission to this program.

Application Start Date: 7th March 2025
Last Date to Apply: 6th May 2025
Exam Date: 24th May 2025
Last Date for TMI Application Form: 9th May 2025
Selection Procedure
After receiving IMU-CET and Class 12 results, candidates must inform TMI through email or other available communication methods, mentioning their registration number.
Candidates must have qualified IMU-CET and secured at least 60% marks in the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) subjects in Class 12.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited by sponsoring shipping companies for interviews and medical examinations.
Final selection is made by the shipping companies, who will issue a sponsorship letter to selected candidates.
Selected candidates must report to TMI with the sponsorship letter and required documents.
Admission will be confirmed after fee payment as mentioned in the admission offer letter.
Candidates must join the course at TMI as per the instructions provided in the admission letter.
